Notes

Lots of wind noise and even some rain drops can be heard (especially towards the end of the tape) due to a nice big thunderstorm. I left a couple of minutes of tear down/find shelter time after Steam Engine in case people want to hear want Mark went through. :o)

Subject: one of the best shows i have ever seen
The quality on this audio could be better, but the show couldn't of been better. Lol. It really really was like they made the storm happen. I was fortunate enough to have been there and it was easily the best show of the weekend. People were in a daze and speechless by the time it was over. I would pay out the butt for high quality video footage of this show. I just thank god I was smart and knew to get a good spot in the crowd beforehand.

Subject: Bonnaroo
I agree with the other reviewers. The storm and Jim's voice made this something I will remember forever. I can't even describe the way I felt walking away from this show. I've been to Bonnaroo 3 yrs. running and this is my favorite show of all. Listening to this is like being there all over again.

Subject: bonarroo not bought out
straight from the mouth of the bonarroo gods:
Hey Andrew,

Thanks for your email and interest in Bonnaroo. No corporation,
including MTV and ClearChannel, has bought out the festival.
Unfortunately, some people started rumors on message boards that spread
very quickly. The festival will run this year just as it has in the
past. We'd appreciate if you helped pass on the message! Thanks!

Best,
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

spread the word MTV is not afiliated with bonarro, and the festival WILL carry out the same as previously

Subject: Southern Rain
Diamond sized raindrops crashed down during the show as a Tennessee breeze blew. I just remember looking up at the stage and seeing the union of song and naturee meet. Pretty spectacular to take in...

Subject: craziest moment ever
the storm was insane, but seemed benevolent. this was one of the most surreal moments of my life. the feeling that the band summoned the storm was hard to shake at the time, and actually still is. i give it a 3 cuz the stars are for sound quality, but everything else would get a 5. i just want to say something to the person who said bonnaroo is "Eden on Earth". One, get your head checked out. Two, go to some other festivals. Bonnaroo is the biggest piece-of-crap money-grabbing festival ever put together. well, at least since woodstock 99. it doesnt matter if MTV or anyone else buys it out, because they will have no less regard for your good times and well-being than the current owners. bonnaroo sucks.

Subject: Was at Bonnaroo missed this show :(
Like damn i'm stupid. I'd heard good things but I decided to go lounge around. I think I saw moe. acoustic instead... SO DISSAPOINTED! Not in moe. in the fact that I missed this show.

Just got the bonnaroo dvd, and say their performance. My jaw was on the floor. THis isn't the greates sounding recording, but it's still a really good show!

My Morning Jacket is beautiful man can that man sing or what. I was at this show (BONNAROO!!!!) and it simply blew me away. My Morning Jacket is one of my favs and if anyone has never heard THE TENNESSEE FIRE get it its one of the best albums ever made. By the way anyone have any live Gomez or Iron and Wine shows hook me up. Or find them you will love them.

PS. Go to Bonnaroo it is Eden on Earth and STOP MTV FROM BUYING IT OUT!!!!!!!!

Second year back to TN, and I'm from Boston! Anyways, AMAZING SHOW! You couldn't believe how creepy it was near the end, the sky was like black and you could see it rolling in, and the wind picked up. Made it the coolest atmosphere personally to see a show! Not the best quality but great show, the storm made the show!
